Trust me, I wasn’t always those things. It was not so long ago I was the woman who was never satisfied with my body the way it was and worked out endlessly, calorie-counted, severely restricted and relentlessly beat myself up. For several years, I worked as a fitness instructor and trainer, and I saw first hand how many of us are out there punishing our bodies for being imperfect.
I also suffered from chronic pain and depression so badly that many days when my children were small I would have to rely on family to help me because I just wasn’t able.
For many years, I was the women that was totally missing out on my life because I was too sick and unhappy to fully participate.
Through my journey, I have learned the path to health and happiness is inward. I have spent the past several years dedicated to learning to be ind to myself and through that I have found that loving and nourishing yourself is the key to health and happiness. It has become my mission in life to help other women do the same.
